I wrote this lyrics back in 1969 after I left Neal Ford and The Fanatics. It was difficult to move on other things, with other people since the band had been so close for so long. I felt then, that I was lost in the best years of my life that had just become a memory. I was mentally lost in time. Finding The Satelliters who were so brilliantly keeping that era’s music alive was a gift and I was excited to share this lyrics with them in hopes they would dig it and add their music to it. Happily, they did and we have two era’s of music, lyrics and talents mixed into one wonderful record of which I am very proud to be a part of after all these years. I don’t know but it seems like, I’m lost in time.
